• 1973 Studied Chinese Karate under Sifu Mike Solaices
• 1976 Studied Shotokan Karate under the late Sensei Erdie Manila
• 1984 Studied Shorin-Ryu under Sensei Isao Wada at San Jose State University
• 1988 Graduated San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology - Drafting and Technical Design
• 1995 Began training in Eskrima/Serrada under IESA, currently hold the title of Punong Guro
• 2003 Received the Pamana Arts Legacy Award for Young Journalism and Martial Arts

I have been instructing in the San Francisco/Daly City area for over a decade. I currently work in logistics, as well as a start-up dealing with solar technology.

I have had the privelege of being involved in the planning and promotion of Pilipino-American cultural events such as San Francisco's Pistahan Festival and Parade and Daly City's Fil-Am Festival.
